MY ROUTINE
1. I condition every day . . . but I only condition the lower half of my hair. Otherwise, my roots get greasy and weighed down.

2. I shampoo very rarely. If my hair feels greasy or if I notice product build-up, then I shampoo. I probably shampoo once or twice a month.

3. I finger comb my hair ONLY when it's wet. (Note: NEVER brush or comb dry hair! It will frizz and break!) I find that combs and brushes cause more breakage on my wet hair so I opt for what nature gave me -- fingers. However, some people need more. If you like combs and brushes opt for super wide-toothed combs and/or detangling brushes.

4. I flip my head upside down and finger comb my wet hair away from my scalp. I think this keeps it from going too flat on top.

5. While it's still super wet, I use a dime-sized dollop of gel concentrating on the lower half of my hair. I use my fingers to rake it through. Then I scrunch the roots to encourage volume.

6. Very gently blot dry with a towel. Never rub! Some people swear by microfiber towels but I find that simply blotting gently with a regular towel will achieve the same result.

7. Flip hair upside down again and start to blow dry using the diffuser attachment. Start with the roots and gradually work down to the ends.

8. After hair is dry, scrunch with satin cloth to loosen the stiff gel.

Voila!
